The Oppressed é uma banda skinhead anti-fascista que se formou no ano de 1981 em Cardiff no País de Gales. A maioria dos músicos de várias formações da banda eram skinheads. Ao longo da carreira da banda, os membros (especialmente o vocalista Roddy Moreno) sempre se declararam anti-racistas e anti-fascistas, tanto em suas letras, quanto em entrevistas, comentários sobre-palco e outras ações. Em 1989, Moreno visitou Nova York e reuniu muitos membros Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP). Em seu retorno ao Reino Unido, começou a promover os ideais SHARP para os skinheads britânicos.A banda também tinha ligações com outros grupos anti-racistas, como a Anti-Fascist Action. Moreno é um torcedor do Cardiff City Football Club, e algumas das canções da banda expressam esse tema.

Avenged Sevenfold - Discografia [Pedido]







Avenged Sevenfold é uma banda estado-unidense de metal alternativo formada em 1999 na cidade de Huntington Beach, na Califórnia. A banda chegou ao mainstream com o álbum City of Evil de 2005, que inclui singles como Burn It Down, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot e Seize The Day. O sucesso da banda continuou com seu álbum homônimo, que inclui singles como Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife, Scream, Gunslinger e Dear God.

O Avenged Sevenfold começou tocando Metalcore em seus dois primeiros álbuns mas após alguns anos a banda mudou seu estilo musical no álbum City Of Evil e hoje é considerada uma das melhores bandas da década  assim como seus álbuns, chegando até ter o City Of Evil como um dos melhores álbuns do século. O novo álbum se chama "Nightmare" e será lançado no dia 27 de julho de 2010. O álbum contou com Mike Portnoy, baterista do Dream Theater, que foi convidado para gravar as linhas de bateria por ser o maior ídolo de The Rev.
